Approach

Planning before surface.

An F&B interior has to communicate a feeling while supporting the movements that make service possible. Mode Studio develops the plan, operational relationships and visual character together so the guest-facing room and the working space remain coherent.

Questions at the beginning

What the brief needs to reveal.

  1. 01How do guests arrive, order, wait, dine and leave?
  2. 02How should staff move between service, counter and seating zones?
  3. 03What identity must the room communicate without obstructing operation?

Design sequence

How the work becomes clear.

01

Layout and zoning

Plans that make seating, service, circulation and operational relationships legible.

02

Interior character

A visual direction for light, material, colour and the rhythm of the dining room.

03

Design evidence

Plans, axonometrics, renders and details used to explain how the proposed space should work.
